UN Climate Action 100
Climate Action 100+ is the world’s largest-ever investor engagement initiative on climate change. As of October 2020, over 500+ participating investors with more than $47 trillion in collective assets under management are engaging the focus companies of the initiative to establish robust climate governance frameworks at the board level, set emissions reductions targets aligned to the Paris Agreement, and issue TCFD reporting.

Its customers include large, medium-sized and small companies, public administrations, non-profit organisations, event organisers and private individuals. Through its partner organisations, myclimate is represented in other countries such as Germany, Austria, Sweden or Norway.
James Purcell
Group Head of ESG, Sustainable and Impact Investing, Quintet Private Bank
Before joining Quintet, James was a Managing Director and the Global Head of Sustainable and Impact Investing at UBS Wealth Management. His career has taken him to roles located in London, Hong Kong and Zurich. In 2018, he was named by Financial News as one of the asset management industry’s “Rising Star” under 40. Under his supervision, UBS won variants of awards as best private bank for sustainable investing from Euromoney, Asia Private Banker and Financial Times publications.
James graduated from the University of Oxford with a BA (honours) in Modern History and from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business with an MBA (high honours). He holds the CFA qualification.
Carolina Moura-Alves
Group Head of Asset Allocation, Quintet Private Bank
Based in Zurich, Carolina is responsible for asset allocation strategy across the firm, working in close coordination with Quintet’s local specialists.
Most recently Head of Asset Allocation/Multi-Asset Strategies at Lombard Odier in Geneva, Carolina began her career as a London-based member of the Portfolio Management team at Christofferson, Robb & Co., a hedge fund firm that invests in global structured credit markets. Before Lombard Odier, Carolina was Head of Fixed Income Strategy and deputy Head of Global Asset Allocation at UBS Global Wealth Management. Prior to that she served as a Senior Portfolio Manager at Ovid Capital Advisors, specialized in European structured credit. She also served as a Senior Credit Analyst and Fixed-Income Portfolio Manager at REYL Asset Management, where she co-managed two fixed-income mutual funds.
Carolina holds a D.Phil. in Physics from the University of Oxford and earned her MSc in Engineering Physics from the Instituto Superior Técnico in Lisbon.
