Quintet Switzerland’s Board of Directors is a team of highly experienced industry leaders that determines the strategic goals and general ways and means that will be used to achieve these goals. In this way, they effectively define the firm’s corporate governance and put it into practice. 

The Board of Directors is guided by the goal of sustainable corporate development and is responsible for supervising compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations.

Giulia Fitzpatrick has a proven track record of leading organisations in complex and fast-changing international environments. She has been primarily active in financial services as well as agricultural commodities. She is a subject matter expert in technology, digitalisation and data as well as risk management. She currently serves on the board of directors of a number of other companies, both listed and private.

She holds a bachelor’s degree in German Literature from the University of California, San Diego, an MBA in Finance from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and a master’s degree in International Relations from the University of Pennsylvania.

Marco Mazzucchelli has been active in the financial industry for more than 30 years, holding senior executive roles at a number of leading institutions. Over the years, he also served as independent director on several boards, including Borsa Italiana (IT), MTS S.p.A (IT), EuroMTS Ltd (UK), Harrods Bank Ltd (UK), Lindorff Group (NOR), Ospedale San Raffaele (IT) and Kairos Partners SGR Sp (IT). Additionally, he was a member of the European Commission’s High-level Expert Group on Bank Structural Reform and the European Banking Authority’s Banking Stakeholders Group, and was also a Visiting Fellow at MIT Sloan.

George Nasra, who serves as Deputy Chairman of the Board of Directors, is the CEO of Precision Capital, a Luxembourg-based bank holding company. He previously served as Managing Director of the International Bank of Qatar (2008–2012), the culmination of his long banking career in the Middle East, where he primarily served at the National Bank of Kuwait (1979–2008).

Michaela Troyanov-Buresch is the founder and owner of Wealth & Legal Strategies in Geneva. Prior to that, she served as the Head of Legal & Compliance at Lombard Odier. Moreover, she has held leading positions in the areas of regulation, admission of securities, market surveillance and law in various Swiss-based stock exchange organisations. 

She holds a Dr. iur. from the University of Vienna and a Master of Comparative Jurisprudence from New York University, as well as a lic. iur. from the University of Geneva.

Jakob Stott

Jakob Stott

Jakob Stott serves as Group CEO and a member of the Board of Directors at Quintet Private Bank. Stott previously served as Vice-Chairman of UBS Wealth Management, leading the Zurich-headquartered organisation’s global wealth management growth agenda while also personally advising select clients. Before this, he served as the Head of UBS Wealth Management, Europe, responsible for a staff of 3,000 in 45 offices spanning the continent. Between 1982 and 2010, Stott held a series of roles of increasing responsibility at J.P. Morgan, rising to the position of Chief Operating Officer for the EMEA region.

 

Nicholas Harvey

Nicholas Harvey

Member of the Board of Directors, Group CFO

Nicholas Harvey serves as Group CFO and member of the Authorised Management Committee at Quintet Private Bank. Most recently Deputy CEO of Precision Capital, Harvey served as Chief Risk Officer and member of the Management Board at Amlin Europe prior to that. He also advised banks and insurers across Europe for 10 years as a consultant with McKinsey. English by birth but raised in Belgium, Harvey graduated from Louvain University in Belgium and holds an MBA from Kellogg in the United States.
