Quintet Switzerland, a member of Quintet Private Bank, announced the appointment of Cindy Eicher as Co-Head, Family Investment Office Switzerland. In her new role, Eicher will work in close partnership with Patrick Jung to develop the business with family offices and UHNW clients looking for this level of services.
“What brought me to Quintet is the compelling value proposition of the Family Investment Office; it is unique in the wealth management industry as it is essentially a multi-family office with a banking license, offering clients freedom of choice without neglecting the all-important aspect of independent advice,” said Eicher. “Having worked for large wealth managers, I’m particularly fascinated by Quintet’s refusal to be constrained by either/or thinking. This is only possible with a true open-architecture approach. I’m very eager to put my skills and experience to work for our clients, alongside my colleagues in Switzerland and across Europe.”
Quintet Private Bank is building out Family Investment Office hubs in Zurich, Luxembourg and London.
“We are attracting highly experienced and talented individuals to execute the strategy because it’s a chance to create something new and focus on providing clients with unbiased strategic advice,” said Philip Higson, Group Head, Family Investment Office. “We have unbundled the typical wealth management offering, and our goal is to improve quality, performance and cost effectiveness. Our core advisory process is more aligned with entrepreneurs and business owners, and we have great ideas and content to offer them. For example, our co-investment platform helps professional clients deploy capital to new economy growth companies, and we support them with a rigorous process.”

“Cindy brings exactly the right entrepreneurial mindset, experience and drive that is needed to successfully address the complex needs of the individuals and families we serve,” said Emmanuel Fievet, CEO of Quintet Switzerland.
At Quintet Switzerland, Eicher will draw upon her 20 years of experience, including most recently heading the wealth management activities in Zurich of J.P. Morgan (Switzerland). In that role, she was responsible for growing the bank’s franchise and expanding its client book, with a focus on UHNWIs and family offices.
“Cindy comes with a wealth of advisory expertise, enabling her to really understand each client’s needs and ambitions,” Fievet added. “A natural self-starter, she is a perfect fit for us. She will help us deliver tailor-made solutions for our clients and realize our ambition of becoming the most trusted fiduciary of family wealth.
“I’m confident the Family Investment Office will be a success because we have the energy and experience of Philip Higson, who is leading the Family Investment Office for the group. He gained insights from a long career in finance and from his time at the inception of a global family office unit at a leading international wealth manager,” Fievet concluded.
